"Uncivilized, beastly creatures" we're called,
but we're far more consummated than they.
They say we're evil creatures of gall,
but we're the regal ones, loyal and brave.
We're called pernicious, yet we still persist
and search for a wolf's utopian home.
Every part of me screams that it exists,
so across the earth, every day, we roam
I know we're close, the scent of flowers drifts.
With every step, the feeling germinates,
and with just one thought, our spirit we lift,
that soon we'll be paradise laureates.
So day after day, through hell we've endured
by the promise the flower maiden assured.

Poem is not written by me but by a good friend of mine who likes to write poems. He likes me to post his poems on here so he can get other people's thoughts but just doesn't have the time to run his own account.
He asked if I could give him ideas on new stuff to write so I jokingly said Wolf's Rain..... He took me seriously and emailed this back lol there's some pretty advance vocabulary in here so I'll copy and paste the meaning of the harder words lol
Consummated as in - to bring to a state of perfection; fulfill.
Pernicious - causing insidious harm or ruin; ruinous; injurious; hurtful, evil hurtful
Germinates - to begin to grow or develop
Laureate - deserving or having special recognition for achievement,
.... And this dude is helping me to revise the story. He pretty much summed up the summary of the show in a very poetic way
